Je suis impliqué dans les recherches sur la réponse aux stress de la bactérie environnementale Shewanella oneidensis et plus particulièrement sur les mécanismes de résistance aux métaux et le rôle des systèmes chimiosenseurs de cette bactérie.
Pour cela j’utilise des approches de biologie moléculaire (PCR, clonage, mutagenèse dirigée), microbiologie (culture, criblage de banques), biochimie (production et purification de protéines) et microscopie.
Au sein de l’équipe, je forme les étudiants et post-docs aux différentes techniques que j’utilise, j’encadre des stagiaires BTS et je gère les stocks et commandes.
Au sein de l’unité, j’assure un support de clonages et d’expression de gènes et l’activité d’Assistant de Prévention.
