Je m’intéresse aux mécanismes mis en jeu lorsqu’un microorganisme doit s’adapter à changement de conditions de croissance ou à un stress. En particulier, en utilisant une approche génétique et biochimique, j’étudie le rôle des acteurs (chaperons, protéases, …) responsables du maintien de la protéostasie.
My studies aim at deciphering the processes involved in the adaptation of bacteria when growth conditions change or when they face stresses. In particular, using genetic and biochemical approaches, I study how chaperones and proteases control protein homeostasis when bacteria have to deal with adverse conditions.
